Short Horror/Fantasy Story Contest "100cia"

From July 9th to October 28th, 2021

Activity aimed at the university community organized in collaboration with the Vice Dean of Students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities.
 

Competition rules:

1. Anyone belonging to the university community of the University of Malaga who so wishes may participate in this contest, provided that their works are written in the Spanish language, are rigorously unpublished, and have not been previously awarded. Each writer may present only one work, which must be related to the theme of the contest.

 2. The works must be presented in perfect conditions of legibility, in Times New Roma size 12, with a maximum of 200 words, not counting the title. The stories that are presented without a title will be automatically eliminated. Only works received in PDF format will be accepted.
 

3. The works will be sent to the email address estudiantesyculturaletrasfil@uma.es. The subject must include "Ciencia Letras2021" and two files must be attached to said e-mail, one of them with the story's title - and will include the story itself - and another, with the name "Plica", with the title of the story and the author's personal data (name, surname, telephone, email, address, postal code, town and their relationship with the University of Malaga).

4. There will be a sole winner, however, the jury of this edition reserves the right to be able to grant second prize if it deems it appropriate. There will be 3 awards:

* 350 euros and a Fancine merchandising pack as first prize

* 250 euros and a Fancine merchandising pack as second prize

* 150 euros and a Fancine merchandising pack as third prize

5. The admission period for the stories begins on July 9 and will end on October 28, 2021. A jury made up of members related to the world of arts and humanities will decide the prizes, to be delivered during the development of the Fantastic Film Festival. 

6. The submission of originals for this award implies full acceptance of the rules, the sole interpretation of which corresponds exclusively to the members of the jury.
