ACTIVITIES

Will water be the fuel of the future?

In his book "Mysterious Island", Jules Verne had a prophetic vision when he stated that water would be the carbon of the future. Can we power our cars with water? Just as the submarine or a journey to the moon, is this another one of Verne's true prophesies?

Humanity must solve a major problem in the next decade, how are we going to power cars? What about airplanes? And boats? Fossil fuels run out and pose several environmental problems. On the other hand, electric fuels have many drawbacks…. What will be the solution? During this talk we will try to analyze, from an entertaining and informal yet rigorous and scientific point of view, the advances and future perspectives on the possibility of using water as fuel.

November 15th, 7 p.m.
