OPENING "EL CANTO DE LA MONEDA"

A hipster gets into a pseudo-intellectual argument with a renowned academic. A couple talks about friendship and love after a chance meeting arranged by their mobile phones. Three post-apocalyptic survivors try to figure out how to forge a new world.

About the play:

El canto de la moneda is the result of uniting three pamphlets that its author, Manu Collado, has been composing for over four years with some fellow travelers such as the poet Francisco Rubén Rosa from Zaragoza, the emerging filmmaker Carlos Campoy and the also Granada-born playwright and poet Fernando Grieta.

The result is a 60-minute play that oscillates between comedy and drama, grotesque and lyrical in equal measure, with which we hope to delight while making the audience reflect.
